Skin irritation study was carried out on rabbits to assess the irritation potential of test chemical Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (CAS No: -60-00-4).
The skins of rabbits were exposed to the test chemical at concentration of 50% in aqueous solution and skin reactions were observed up to 20 days.
No known signs of irritation were observed after 20 days. Hence, Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (CAS No: -60-00-4) wasconsidered to be non irritating to the rabbits skin.
