Description of key information

The following vapour pressure values for 2-[(2-nitrophenyl)amino]ethanol were extrapolated from the experimental data by using the Antoine Equation :

at 20 °C the vapour pressure of the test item is 7.7 E-7 hPa

at 25 °C the vapour pressure of the test item is 1.7 E-6 hPa

at 50 °C the vapour pressure of the test item is 6.3 E-5 hPa

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 hPa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of 2-[(2-nitrophenyl)amino]ethanolwas determined according to the OECD 104 guideline

and the EU Method A4 (effusion method : Knudsen cell) and in conformity with the GLP.

The vapour pressure of the test item was extrapolated from the experimental results obtained at high temperatures, using the Antoine equation :

at 20 °C : 7.7 E-7 hPa

at 25 °C : 1.7 E-6 hPa

at 50 °C : 6.3 E-5 hPa

This vapour pressure test is classified as acceptable, and satisfies the guideline requirements.
