First-aid measures

Inhalation:

Move affected person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Ingestion:

Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Do not induce vomiting unless under the direction of medical personnel. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that vomit does not enter the lungs.

Skin contact:

Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.

Eye contact:

Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids wide apart. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguish with foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, sand, etc. Cool containers exposed to flames with water.

Accidental release measures

Sweep up and collect into suitable containers. Do not discharge into drains or watercourses or onto the ground. Wear appropriate PPE to avoid skin contact, eye contact and inhalation of dust.

Handling and storage

Avoid spilling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Good personal hygiene procedures should be implemented and wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water after work.
