Additional information

Reaction mass of N-(1-oxooctadecyl)sarcosine and N-hexadecanoyl-N-methylglycine (EC 947-850-7) is characterized by a water solubility of 2.86 mg/L (OECD 105), and a low vapour pressure of 7.1E-05 Pa (20 °C, OECD 104). The log Koc is 2.31 at pH 7 and 2.17 at pH 9 (QSAR, ChemProp v6.5), indicating that the potential for adsorption to particles in soil and sediment is low to moderate at environmentally relevant pH values of 7 to 9. Based on the low water solubility and predicted log Koc values, only low concentrations of the substance are expected in the water compartment with moderate mobility at environmentally relevant pH values in the range of 7 to 9. Moreover, the substance will persist in the environment due to ready biodegradability.
