First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:
Inhalation: Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Dust irritates the respiratory system, and may cause coughing and difficulties in breathing. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyes wide apart. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing.
Skin contact: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. If skin irritation or an allergic skin reaction develops, get medical attention.
Ingestion: Give one or two glasses or water if patient is alert and able to swallow. Seek immediate medical attention. Do not induce vomiting. Never give liquid to an unconscious person.
Fire-fighting measures
General fire hazards:
No data available.
Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide.
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
No data available.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
None known.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures:
No data available.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:
Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved materials. Firefighters must use standard protective equipment including flame retardant coat, helmet with face shield, gloves, rubber boots, and in enclosed spaces, SCBA. Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
No special precautionary health measures should be needed under anticipated conditions of use.
Environmental precautions:
No data available.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Collect in containers and seal securely. All waste materials should be packaged, labelled and transported in accordance with all national, state/provincial, and local requirements.
Notification Procedures:
Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses. In the event of a spill or accidental release, notify relevant authorities in accordance with all applicable regulations. Collect and dispose of spillage as indicated below.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Avoid generation and spreading of dust. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Wear approved safety goggles.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
No data available.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure controls:
Appropriate engineering controls:
No specific recommendation made, but protection against nuisance dust must be used when the general level exceeds 10 mg/m3.
Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:
General information:
Always observe good personal hygiene measures, such as washing after handling the material and before eating, drinking, and/or smoking. Routinely wash work clothing to remove contaminants. Discard contaminated footwear that cannot be cleaned.
Eye/face protection:
Chemical goggles are recommended.
Skin/hand protection:
No data available.
Other:
No skin protection is ordinarily required under normal conditions of use. In accordance with good industrial hygiene practices, precautions should be taken to avoid skin contact.
Respiratory Protection:
Observe occupational exposure limits and minimize the risk of inhalation of dust.
Hygiene measures:
No data available.
Environmental Controls:
No data available.
