On the basis of the original peer reviewed literature the relative density of 1,7 -Octadiene is set to 0.73. QSAR and handbook data in the range 0.73 -0.75 are supporting. In addition, data of an unassignable reliability at temperatures -10 °C and 80 °C (0.76 g/cm3 and 0.68 g/cm3, respectively) are available.
