Administrative data

acute toxicity: inhalation
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
Justification for type of information:
Annex VIII of REACH regulation defines the information requirements for registrations between 10 and 100 t/a. For the endpoint acute inhalative toxicity it is defined:
"Testing by the inhalation route is appropriate if exposure of humans via inhalation is likely taking into account the vapour pressure of the substance and/or the possibility of exposure to aerosols, particles or droplets of an inhalable size."
Inhalative exposure of humans is unlikely due to the low vapour pressure of the substance (0.36 hPa at 25 °C). Thus dermal exposure is considered significantly more likely so information are provided for this endpoint.
