Remarks on result:
other: 50 % barium nitrate in powdered cellulose

The maximum burning rates of the test item mixtures with cellulose are much longer than the maximum burning rate of the reference mixture of cellulose and barium nitrate or even pure cellulose. All test item mixtures burned, or rather smoldered only on the surface without apparent flame. The test formulation of 25 % test item in powdered cellulose extinguished by itself.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Remarks:
Criteria used for interpretation of results: Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (EU GHS)
Conclusions:
No oxidising properties
Executive summary:

The oxidising properties of substance "reaction mass of calcium hydrogen phosphonate and dialuminium tricalcium hexaoxide" were measured in a study according to EU Method A.17 (Oxidising Properties (Solids)). The test substance showed no oxidising properties under the conditions of the test. The maximum burning rates of the test item mixtures with cellulose are much longer than the maximum burning rate of the reference mixture made from barium nitrate and cellulose or even pure cellulose. All test item mixtures burned, or rather smoldered only on the surface without apparent flame. The test formulation of 25 % test item in powdered cellulose extinguished by itself.

In conclusion, the test substance has not to be considered as an oxidising substance according to the criteria laid down in EU method A.17.

Additional information

The oxidising properties of substance "reaction mass of calcium hydrogen phosphonate and aluminium tricalcium hexaoxide" were measured in a study according to EU Method A.17 (Oxidising Properties (Solids)).

Justification for classification or non-classification

Substance "reaction mass of calcium hydrogen phosphonate and dialuminium tricalcium hexaoxide" was considered to have no oxidising properties under the conditions of a test according to EU Method A.17 (Oxidising Properties (Solids)).

In accordance with CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, substance "reaction mass of calcium hydrogen phosphonate and dialuminium tricalcium hexaoxide" is not classified for oxidising properties and labelling is not required.
