Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to ECHA REACH TGD R.7b, R.7.9.1 information on degradation/biodegradation is relevant for organic substances. In accordance with REACH Regulation, Annex VIII,, column 2, a study on hydrolysis as a function of pH does not need to be conducted if the substance is highly insoluble in water. Substance "reaction mass of calcium hydrogen phosphonate and dialuminium tricalcium hexaoxide" is an inorganic crystalline solid of lamellar structure. As it is a clay like substance, its dissolution in water is a hydrolytic process. However, considering its poor water solubility (0.68 g/L), it can be concluded that the substance is not hydrolysable in a substantial amount. Thus, as the substance is inorganic and of low solubility, hydrolysis is not relevant and further testing is unjustified.
