Key result
Boiling pt.:
> 310 °C
Decomposition:
no
Remarks on result:
other: No departure from the base line of the heat flow record was observed that might indicate a melting, boiling or decomposition process while the substance was heated up to a temperature of 310°C (583 K).
Conclusions:
Boiling point > 310°C
Executive summary:

The boiling point of substance "reaction mass of calcium hydrogen phosphonate and dialuminium tricalcium hexaoxide" was measured in a study according to EU Methods A.1 (Melting / Freezing Temperature) and A.2 (Boiling Temperature) Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) as thermal analysis method was used. According to REACH TGD r7a, this method can be used to evaluate melting and boiling point in a single test.

No departure from the base line of the heat flow record was observed that might indicate a melting, boiling or decomposition process while the substance was heated up to and including a temperature of 310°C (583 K).

Boiling point > 310°C

Description of key information

> 583 K (310°C)
EU Methods A.1 (Melting / Freezing Temperature) and A.2 (Boiling Temperature) Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) as thermal analysis method was used.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Value used for CSA: > 583 K (310°C)

The boiling point of substance "reaction mass of calcium hydrogen phosphonate and dialuminium tricalcium hexaoxide" was measured in a study according to EU Methods A.1 (Melting / Freezing Temperature) and A.2 (Boiling Temperature) Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) as thermal analysis method was used. According to ECHA Guidance R.7a, subchapter R.7.1.3.3 (2017), this method can be used to evaluate melting and boiling point in a single test. No departure from the base line of the heat flow record was observed that might indicate a melting, boiling or decomposition process while the substance was heated up to and including a temperature of 310°C (583 K).
