Conclusions:
The test substance crystallizes below -60°C

Description of key information

Crystallizes below -60°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-60 °C

Additional information

The determination was done according to EC Guideline L 251/Al (melting-point / melting-range) with the aid of DIN 51421.

It was impossible to follow exactly the proposed procedures, because of the solidification of the test substance during the cool down period, which prevented the necessary stirring. The observation of the freezing process had to be done visually, because no temperature increase or temperature plateau could be measured.
