- Details on sampling:
- The test item sample was prepared by weighing 25.0 mg of the test item into a 25 mL volumetric flask and brought to volume with methanol. The final concentration of FAT 92368/Y TE was 1000 mg/L.
- Details on matrix:
- A moderately polar stationary phase based on a silica matrix was used (Nucleodur 100-5 CN-RP). A 55/45 (v/v) methanol/ water mixture was used as mobile phase and the column temperature was 25 °C.

- Temp.:
- 25 °C
- Details on results (HPLC method):
- The aim of this study was the determination of the adsorption coefficient of the test item FAT 92368/Y by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method according to EC method C.19 and OECD guideline 121. The analysis was performed on an analytical column packed with a commercially available cyanopropyl solid phase containing lipophilic and polar moieties. A moderately polar stationary phase based on a silica matrix was used (Nucleodur 100-5 CN-RP). A 55/45 (v/v) methanol/ water mixture was used as mobile phase and the column temperature was 25 °C. FAT 92368/Y eluted with a retention time of 2.46 min. The calculated adsorption coefficient is therefore below the determination limit of the method (<1.5).
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The mean log Koc of test substance FAT 92368/Y was found to be <1.5

Reference
Two measurements were made under identical conditions using the same set of reference items. Four chromatograms of the test item were recorded per measurement. The dead time was determined with sodium nitrate. The whole measurement was accomplished two times to be sure that the variation of the determined log Koc is within a range of± 0.25 log units and to fulfil the requirements of EC method C.19 and OECD guideline 121 concerning the quality criteria.
Description of key information
The mean log Koc of the test substance was found to be <1.5
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Koc at 20 °C:
