Additional information

One guideline study investigating the biodegradation in water of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, heptyl glycoside is available. The potential for ready biodegradability of the substance was investigated in a test according to OECD guideline 301F. The test resulted in 82.25% biodegradation based on O2-consumption, also fulfilling the 10-day criterion. The test item is considered readily biodegradable.

Thus, further testing of biodegradation in water and sediment and in soils is not required.
