Findings:

Safety pre-test:

A small amount of the test item was heated on a magnesia groove with a gas burner. Glowing was observed. The test item showed no signs of ignition.

Preliminary screening test:

The test item was heated with the flame of a teclu burner. Glowing was observed during heating. No ignition occurred within two minutes.

Conclusions:
No ignition was observed throughout the course of the test. The test item FAT 93504/B is not highly flammable.
Executive summary:

This study was performed in order to determine the flammability FAT 93504/B following EU Method A.10 (Flammability (Solids)). No ignition was observed throughout the course of the test. The test item FAT 93504/B is not highly flammable.

Description of key information

No ignition was observed throughout the course of the test. The test item FAT 93504/B should be considered as not highly flammable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

This study was performed in order to determine the flammability FAT 93504/B TE following EU Method A.10 (Flammability (Solids)). No ignition was observed throughout the course of the test. The test item FAT 93504/B TE should be considered as not highly flammable.

Justification for classification or non-classification

No ignition was observed throughout the course of the test. The test item FAT 93504/B should be considered as not highly flammable. Therefore, the result does not warrant classification according to EU GHS.
