In water and sewage treatment plants, fast degradation is expected, since the test substance reached a biodegradation value of 82% at Day 28 in an OECD 301-Screening test.

The test substance being considered readily biodegradable, bioaccumulations in water/sediment and soil are not expected.

A range of adsorption/desorption coefficient values was obtained: 3.53 to 4.09, 86.6% of the components have Log Koc ranged from 3.84 to 3.93. Even if Log Koc is higher than 3, no adsorption to solid soil phase is expected the test substance being considered to be readily biodegradable.
