Description of key information

A study assessing the toxicity of the test item to six non-target terrestrial plants, including two monocotyledoneae (Sorghum bicolor, Triticum aestivum) and four dicotyledoneae (Cucumis sativus, Phaseolus vulgaris, Pisum sativum, Sinapis alba) was performed in accordance with the OECD 208 Test Guideline (Seedling Emergence Test).

The most sensitive species were Triticum aestivum (wheat), Phaseolus vulgaris (bean) and Sorghum bicolor (sorghum), for which the NOEC based on emergence, survival and shoot weight was equal to 3.20 mg/kg soil dw.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for terrestrial plants:
3.2 mg/kg soil dw
