- not specified
- Duration:
- 28 d
- Dose descriptor:
- NOEC
- Effect conc.:
- 100 mg/L

- Conclusions:
- The NOEC for microorganism toxicity of the test item was determined to be 100 mg/L.
- Executive summary:
A readily biodegradation test was performed on 2 -methylcyclohexyl acetate by MITI according to OECD Guideline 301 C. 30 mg/L of activated sludge were exposed to 100 mg/L test item for 4 weeks. The biodegradation obtained by indirect analysis was 0 (basis for effect: BOD), and by direct analysis 2% (basis for effect: HPLC). The test item was deterined not to be toxic under test conditions. According to the current guidelines, the NOEC for microorganism toxicity was determined to be 100 mg/L.
Reference
The test item was determined not to be toxic in the biodegradability test although not been readily biodegradable.
Description of key information
Key study: OECD 301C. No data on GLP. The NOEC for microorganism toxicity was determined to be 100 mg/L.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- EC10 or NOEC for microorganisms:
- 100 mg/L
Additional information
Key study: Experimental results:
A readily biodegradation test was performed on test item by MITI according to OECD Guideline 301 C. The NOEC for microorganism toxicity was determined to be 100 mg/L.
