Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye contact: immediately flush them with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Consult a doctor.
Skin contact: remove with plenty of water and soap. Flush it with plenty of water. Take off immediately contaminated clothing.
Ingestion: drink large amounts of water, if possible with active coal added. Seek medical advice.
Inhalation: take the injured to the open air; seek medical advice if respiratory upset.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Water mist, foam, CO2, dry powder
Personal precautions: Wear appropiate protective equipment and clothing.
Accidental release measures
Keep dry and place material into closed container.
Handling and storage
Keep in tightly closed packings. Store in a cool / dry and good ventilated place. Store away from any source of ignition.
Dust may be explosive if mixed with air in critical proportions and in presence of a source of ignition, store it in accordance with national regulations.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory protection: If there is dustiness, wear a respirator approved by the Bureau of Mines for nuisance dust.
When working wear appropiate protective clothing, gloves and protecting glasses / mask.
Ventilate area. Avoid contact with skin and inhalation. Take suitable measures when working with chemicals.
General measures for personal hygiene: Store, handle and use in accordance with good industrial hygiene practices when handling with chemicals. Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Do not eat, drink or smoke when working. After work wash your hands with warm water and soap, take a shower every day.
Stability and reactivity
Materials to avoid: strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: it may produce carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and hydrogen chloride gas.
Other: Dust may be explosive if mixed with air in critical proportions and in presence of a source of ignition.
Disposal considerations
Incinerate or bury in a landfill site approved for hazardous waste disposal. In accordance with national, provincial and local regulations.
