Additional information

Two terrestrial tests for two trophic levels are available for Glycerides, C8 -18 and C18 -unsatd. mono- and di-, acetates (CAS No. 91052 -13 -0). In the long-term test conducted with individuals of Eisenia fetida, no effects on reproduction up to 1000 mg/kg dw soil were observed during the exposure period (56 d). In the second test, carried out with soil microorganisms, the effects of Glycerides, C8 -18 and C18 -unsatd. mono- and di-, acetates on soil nitrification was investigated. Compared to the control, no statistically significant effects on the nitrogen turnover up to 1000 mg/kg dw soil were observed after 28 days of exposure. Based on this information, toxicity of Glycerides, C8-18 and C18-unsatd. mono- and di-, acetates (CAS No. 91052 -13 -0) to terrestrial organisms is not expected to be of concern, and consequently, no further testing is proposed.
