Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The Pocket Guide presents key information and data from the US Department of Health and Human Services and, as such, is a reliable governmental source of information. It is considered a suitable key study source for this endpoint (NIOSH 2005). This is supported by data from the WHO ICSC (2005) which gives a vapour pressure of 180 Pa at 20°C. No information on the primary source of the data or the methods used is available. However, this information is taken from a reliable peer reviewed database and so can be considered reliable and suitable for use for this endpoint.

The vapour pressure results are presented for high purity (solid) DCPD but as some of the data were generated at temperatures above the melting point, DCPD would be in liquid form. No information is available on the vapour pressure of commercial (liquid) DCPD but this is expected to be very similar to the high purity DCPD in its melted (liquid) form.
