Additional information

The test substance is a dark blue powder. The melting point was determined to be higher than 300°C, therefore the boiling point, vapour pressure, and flash point could be waived. The density at 20°C is 1520 kg/m3 with a mass median diameter of 34.8 µm and a calculated partition coefficient between n-octanol and aqueous phase of log Pow: -13. The water solubility of the test substance is 246 g/L at 20°C and the fat solubility is lower than 0.5mg/100g fat at 37°C. The surface tension of aqueous solution at 20°C is 64.2 mN/m for a concentration of 10 g/L. The auto flammability temperature is 240°C and the test substance is not highly flammable. The test substance is also not explosive and has no oxidizing properties. Classification of the test substance is not needed according to the Directive 67/584/EEC and according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
