Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In contact with water the substance will hydrolyse slowly.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Hydrolysis as a function of pH was tested at a temperature of 50°C [BASF AG 1990]. Less than 10% of the substance was hydrolysed after 5 days. Based on this result a half-life of more than 1 year can be expected under environmental conditions (25°C).
