Conclusion on classification

Daphnia magna were found to be the most sensitive aquatic species. The acute aquatic toxicity (based on the lowest of the available toxicity values) is EC50 (48 h) = 0.12 mg/L. The substance is readily biodegradable and the log Kow is 1.39 (exp. result). p-Toluidine is classified according to Directive 67/548/EEC as R50 and according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 as Aquatic Acute Category 1. The M-factor of 1 is assigned according to Table 4.1.3 Annex I Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
