Description of key information
A GLP and a non-GLP study in Selenastrum capricornutum, both according to OECD guideline 201, are available for propylene glycol methyl ether acetate.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
In both studies the EC50 values were determined to be superior to 1,000 mg/l since no inhibition of growth was observed. The no observed effect concentration (NOEC) was determined to be ≥ 1,000 mg/l.
