Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex X, Dicyandiamide is practically non-toxic to terrestrial and aquatic vertebrates and invertebrates, plants, and microorganisms. Furthermore, Dicyandiamide is expected not to accumulate in sediment to any extent,

even when emitted directly to surface water. Therefore Dicyandiamide poses no hazard to sediment-dwelling organisms, and sediment-dwelling organisms will not be exposed to Dicyandiamide, regardless of its use.

Therefore, no long-term toxicity testing of sediment organisms is required.
