Following oral exposure, intravenous or intratracheal administration, ethylenediamine was rapidly excreted. Most of the absorbed material was quickly eliminated in the urine. The volume of distribution in older animals is much less than young animals due to the higher fat content in the older animals. Plasma levels in older rats were 2 -4 times greater than for younger rats.
