Additional information

The surface tension of Epoxy half acrylate was determined according to OECD guideline 115 using the plate method. Three measurement series were performed. Surface tension in the three experiments showed a variation (100% -min/max) of 6.5%. In the first measurement series, the mean values (61.46 mN/m) lay above the threshold for surface tension. In the second and third series, mean values of 59.01 and 57.47 mN/m, respectively, were recorded; both lying below the threshold for surface tension. Variation between second and third series was below 3%, indicating that equilibrium had been reached. As the determined surface tension of Epoxy half acrylate was lower than 60 mN/m in equilibrium, the test item should be classified assurface active.
