Key result
Flash point:
102 °C
Atm. press.:
1 013.25 hPa

The results of the main tests were:

First determination: Flash point, corrected for atmospheric pressure: 102.0 °C

Second determination: Flash point, corrected for atmospheric pressure: 102.0 °C

The results of the two tests were averaged and rounded off to the nearest 0.5 °C to obtain the final flash point value: 102.0 °C

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The flash point was determined to be 102.0 °C at 1013.25 hPa
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.9 and ISO 2719:2002 to determine flash point of the test item using a closed cup method. The measured flash point at atmospheric pressure was corrected to a standard pressure of 1013 hPa. The flash point was determined in two individual trials to be at 102.0 °C (corrected to the ambient pressure). As both results did not differ by more than 2.0 °C no third test was required. The flash point was the average of the two results, rounded off to the nearest 0.5 °C. Thus, the flash point was determined to be 102.0 °C at 1013.25 hPa. No observations were made which cause doubt on the validity of the outcome of the study.

Description of key information
