Additional information

The chronic toxicity of the substance to Daphnia magna was tested in a guideline study following OECD guideline 202. The animals were exposed to the substance in a semi-static system for 21 days. A solubiliser was used to increase the water solubility of the test substance. Reproduction and mobility of D. magna was monitored. Based on immobilization a NOEC of 0.23 mg/l was determined. For reproduction a NOEC of 0.78 mg/l was reported (Ciba-Geigy, 1987).
