Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Instillation of the undiluted or diluted material resulted in moderate to severe corneal injury, with iritis, in rabbit eyes. However, as the study was not conducted according to current guidelines the results do not allow to classify according to EU criteria.
- Executive summary:
The eye irritation potential of n-pentanol was examined. Instillation of the undiluted or diluted material resulted in moderate to severe corneal injury, with iritis, in rabbit eyes.
