Description of key information

Biphenyl-2-ol, ethoxylated, esters with acrylic acid is a clear liquid at room temperature. The melting temperature is -36°C at 101.3 kPa, whereas the boiling point could not be determined at 101.3 kPa, but measured to be 204°C at 1.3 kPa. The density is determined to be 1.13 g/cm3at 25oC and the vapour pressure was calculated to be 0.00027Pa at 20oC. The flash point was determined to be 165°C and self-ignition did not occur at temperatures below 500°C.

In terms of water solubility biphenyl-2-ol, ethoxylated, esters with acrylic acid has a low solubility in water (30 mg/L, at 20°C), it has a Log Kow = 3.68 and the surface tension was determined to be 42 mN/m at 25°C. Additionally the viscosity was determined to be 138.5 mPas at 25°C.
