Specific details on test material used for the study:
SOURCE OF TEST MATERIAL
- Source and lot/batch No.of test material: Ethoxylated-o-phenylphenol acrylate (MIRAMER 1142), Cas no.: 72009-86-0,
- Purity: 100%

Appearance and use: The substance is a liquid and used in test as supplied form manufactor.

Key result
Melting / freezing pt.:
ca. -36 °C
Atm. press.:
ca. 101.3 kPa
Conclusions:
The freezing point was determined for Biphenyl-2-ol, ethoxylated, esters with acrylic acid (Miramer M1142) in accordance with OECD Guideline study 102. The freezing point was found to be -36 Celcius at 101.3 kPa equally to 237K.
Executive summary:

The freezing point was determined for Biphenyl-2-ol, ethoxylated, esters with acrylic acid ( Miramer M1142) in accordance with OECD Guideline study 102. Tests were performed in two separate run using 5 mL test substance in a tube which was frozen under stirring and temperature recorded continuously every minute.

The freezing point was found to be -36 oC at 101.3 kPa,  equally to 237K.

Description of key information

The melting/freezing point of Biphenyl-2-ol, ethoxylated, esters with acrylic acid was established to be -36 °C @ 101.3 kPa

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-36 °C

Additional information

In general, the resins are liquid at room temperature and the melting/freezing was measured at sub ambient temperatures using the freezing temperature method accoring to OECD TG 102. The melting/freezing point of Biphenyl-2-ol, ethoxylated, esters with acrylic acid (M1142) was established to be -36 °C @ 101.3 kPa
