Any other information on results incl. tables

In the temperature range of 180 – 240 °C a first small endothermic effect can be observed, directly followed by an exothermic effect in the temperature range of 240 – 270 °C, with an average decomposition energy of -70 J/g. Two further endothermic effects occurred in the temperature ranges of 290 – 350 °C and 360 – 410 °C, directly followed by a second exothermic effect in the temperature range of 410 – 460 °C, with an average decomposition energy of -60 J/g.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In a thermal stability test according to the OECD test guideline 113, the test item Alpha-Ketoglutarate disodium salt (CAS no. 305-72-6) showed two exothermic effects in the temperature ranges of 240 – 270 °C and 410 – 460 °C with an overall decomposition energy of approx. -130 J/g.
Executive summary:

In a thermal stability test according to the OECD test guideline 113, the test item Alpha-Ketoglutarate disodium salt (CAS no. 305 -72 -6) showed two exothermic effects in the temperature ranges of 240 – 270 °C and 410 – 460 °C with an overall decomposition energy of approx. -130 J/g.
