Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
If in eyes: Immediate first aid is not likely to be required. This material can be removed
with water.
If on skin: Immediate first aid is not likely to be required. This material can be removed
with soap and water.
Wash heavily contaminated clothing before reuse. If inhaled: Immediate first aid is not
likely to be required.
If symptoms occur, remove to fresh air. Remove material from eyes, skin and clothing.
If swallowed: Immediate first aid is not likely to be required.
A physician or Poison Control Centre can be contacted for advice.
Wash heavily contaminated clothing before reuse.
Fire-fighting measures
Flash point: Non-flammable aqueous solution
Hazardous products of combustion: carbon monoxide (CO); carbon dioxide; nitrogen
oxides (NOx); phosphorus oxides (PxOy)
Extinguishing media: Water spray, foam, dry chemical, or carbon dioxide
Unusual fire and explosion hazards: None known
Fire fighting equipment: Fire fighters, and others exposed, wear self-contained breathing
apparatus.
Equipment should be thoroughly decontaminated after use.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Use personal protection recommended in section 8.
Environmental precautions:
Keep out of drains and watercourses.
Methods for cleaning up: Contain large spills with dikes and transfer the material to
appropriate containers for reclamation or disposal. Absorb remaining material or small
spills with an inert material and then place in a chemical waste container. Flush spill
area with water.
Recycle miscellaneous advice: Local, state, provincial, and national disposal regulations
may be more or less stringent.
This product should not be dumped, spilled, rinsed or washed into sewers or public
Handling and storage
Handling
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practices.
These practices include avoiding unnecessary exposure and removal of material from
eyes, skin and clothing. Emptied containers retain vapour and product residue. Observe
all recommended safety precautions until container is cleaned, reconditioned or
destroyed. The reuse of this material's container for non-industrial purposes is prohibited
and any reuse must be in consideration of the data provided in this material safety data
sheet.
Storage Temperature: > -10 0 C (Recommended temperature for transfer 14 0C)
Shelf life > 24 months
Suitable materials of construction: glass lining; PVC; polypropylene; glass-reinforced
plastic; polyethylene; SS 316
Unsuitable materials of construction: mild steel; aluminium; other metals
General: Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place.
Stable under normal conditions of handling and storage.
