Within a valid GLP conform study the substance Tar, wood, has been been assessed for its toxicity in fish, rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), according to the OECD protocol 203/ EU method C.1.
Validity was assessed by a tox control and confirmed by the quality control of the laboratory.
NOEC was determined to be 22 mg/L/96 hrs,
LOEC was determined to be 45 mg/L/96 hrs and
LL50 was determined to be 31 mg/L/96 hrs
