The publication indicates that semi-occlusive exposure of the shaved rabbit skin to titanium tetrachlorid for 1 and 4 hours leads to a labbeling with R34 as titanium tetrachlorid is corrosive according to EU-criteria. This means that full thickness destruction of the skin occured after exposure for 1 hour. The test substance therefore has to be classified in Cat. 1B (skin irritation/corrosion) according to GHS-criteria.
