Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is a multi-constituent substance with a water solubility of 0.0707 g/L at 20 °C (OECD Guideline 105, flask method). The log Pow of the substance determined according to OECD Guideline 117 (HPLC method, pH = 7.5) is 2.38 at 25 °C. Because of the low log Pow, a low adsorption potential of the substance is expected. QSAR estimations for the main substance components resulted in log Koc values of 2.58 (based on log Kow) and 3.69 (MCI) respectively. The substance is not readily biodegradable (8% after 28 d, OECD 301B). The available test on the abiotic degradation via hydrolysis indicates that the hydrolysis rate increases with increasing pH and temperature. At neutral pH and a temperature of 20 °C a half-life of 3.6 days was determined for the substance (OECD 111).  Based on the physico/chemical properties the substance is expected to partition to the surface water and to soil and sediment in case of a release to the environment. Evaporation to the air and a subsequent transport through the atmosphere to other environmental compartments is not likely due to the low vapour pressure (1.76 Pa at 20 °C). Bioaccumulation in fat tissue and secondary poisoning are not expected due to the log Pow of 2.38 at 25 °C.
