A study was performed to determine the n-octanol-water partition coefficient of 2-butylbutanoic acid compound with 2-aminoethanol in line with OECD Guideline 117 (Partition Coefficient (n-octanol / water), HPLC Method). The study was compliant with GLP. One (1) peak was identified on the calibration curve. Based on a CHARM-weighted average, 2-butylbutanoic acid compound with 2-aminoethanol was concluded to have an n-octanol-water partition coefficient of log Pow = 0.1 at room temperature (varying no more than ± 2 °C during each day of testing).
