Description of key information

Melting point determination of Ettringite was performed according to OECD Guideline No. 102 adopted 27.07.1995, resp. EU-Method A.1.
The melting point is higher than 400°C. Condensed water was observed in the capillaries in the range of 120 - 125°C. This indicates loss of crystal water from the substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
