Aquatic studies:

Valid acute studies are available for 3 trophic levels, and for 2 levels in chronic studies. Fish is the most sensitive organism with a 96h-LC50 of 0.41 mg/L. The lowest effect value for chronic tests was found in daphnia (21d-NOEC 0.028 mg/L).

Toxicity to microorganisms:

A test with activated sludge with a duration of 3 hours was performed according to the OECD TG 209. For N-isopropyl-N'-phenylbenzene-1,4-diamine an EC50 of 34.4 mg/L was observed (Bayer, 1988).
