Additional information

The distribution of N,N'-bis(1,4-dimethylpentyl)-p-phenylenediamine (77PD) between the organic phase of soil or sediments and the pore water was calculated by using QSAR program according to Sabljic (1995) . The estimated LogKoc value for 77PD is 4.76 (Currenta, 2009)

However is the substance hydrolytically unstable (half-life 3.4 h). 1,4 -Dimethylpentylamino-p-phenol is the main primary hydrolysis product and the LogKoc is estimated to be 3.1 (Currenta, 2012b).

The Henry Law Constant of 77PD was calculated with HENRYWIN v. 3.10 on the basis of the bond contribution method and accounts for 0.0098 Pa/m³/mol at a temperature of 25°C (Currenta, 2009).

According to the distribution modelling of Mackay level I, the substance is mainly distributed to soil and sediment.
