The substance Isopropyl palmitate is regarded as readily biodegradable according to the results of 91.3% degradation in a CO2 evolution test (OECD 301B). This finding is further corroborated by the fact that all category member have consistently been shown to be readily biodegradable. Considering Isopropyl palmitate as readily biodegradable, further simulation testing on sediment and soil is not required.
