Conclusion on classification

The substance is readily biodegradable with mainly acute toxicity data available. The lowest acute toxicity value relates to the algal study and an EC50 of >1.1 mg/l and a corrsponding NOEC of 1.1 mg/l, however, the test substance has a very low solubility and is not toxic to aquatic organisms at the limit of solubility, which is was less than the LoQ. No hazard is identified. For information, the acute and chronic toxicity values exceed the thresholds (< 1 mg/l) for classification and the substance is not classified for the environment.
