Additional information

In a GLP study conducted according to OECD Guideline 107 and EU Method A.8 (the shake-flask method), the log Pow (n-octanol/water partition co-efficient) for EDDS acid was estimated to be <-1.4 at 23oC (Gair et al. 2002).

In addition, in a preliminary GLP study conducted according to OECD Guideline 107 (shake-flask method), the log Pow (n-octanol/water partition coefficient) for trisodium EDDS was estimated to be <-4.7 (de Vries, 1993a).

[Data on trisodium EDDS is considered relevant to use for understanding the potential partition coefficient of EDDS acid, and is acceptable for using as read-across information].
