Description of key information

In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the surface tension study (required in 7.6) does not need to be conducted because surface activity is not expected based on the structure of pyrrolidine. In addition, surface activity is not a desired property of the substance.
In literature, a publication of the surface tension was found to be 0.030594 N/m at 283.15 K (10.15 ºC) (Daubert, TE and Danner, RP, 1989)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the surface tension study does not need to be conducted as due to its chemical structure, no surface activity is predicted.
