Description of key information

TAED and DAED
TAED and DAED have low measured Log Kow of -0.1 respectively -1.0 (see Section 4.7 and AISE HERA TAED, 2002, attached as PDF in Section 13) which are far below the Log Kow cutoff 3 used in 1907/2006/EC Annex IX, Column 2, 9.3.2 and therefore a bioaccumlation potential for TAED and DAED is unlikely. In addition the US EPA BCFBAF program estimates for TAED and DAED a BCF of 3 L/kg which is very low and therefore it can be concluded that TAED and DAED have a low potential for bioaccumulation and secondary poisoning is not expected (no biomagnification through the food web).
