Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

TAED

Instead of using the Equilibrium partitioning method for the estimation of the terrestrial toxicity two long-term studies for soil macroorganisms – earthworm and nematode were carried out:

Eisenia fetida:                    OECD 222        NOEC reprod. (56d)     250 mg/kg dw.

Caenorhabitis elegans:     ISODIS10872   NOEC reprod. (3d)     1000 mg/kg dw.

DAED

Both studies for TAED mentioned above were used for read across to DAED. For justification of the read-across see Section 6.2

Both studies were used to derive the PNEC fresh water sediment for TAED as well as DAED (see Section 6 TAED DAED PNEC).

For all other endpoints in Section 6.3 Terrestrial toxicity waiving statements have been set up with appropriate justifications based on the toxicity profile of TAED and DAED as well as exposure considerations (soil is not a target compartment).
