Description of key information

Instead of using the Equilibrium partitioning method for the estimation of the sediment toxicity two long-term studies were carried out:
Lumbriculus variegatus: OECD 225 NOEC reprod. (28d) 125 mg/kg dw.
Caenorhabitis elegans: ISO DIS 10872 NOEC reprod. (3d) 1000 mg/kg dw.
Both studies for TAED mentioned above were used for read across to DAED. For justification of the read-across see Section 6.2
Both studies were used to derive the PNEC fresh water sediment for TAED as well as DAED (see Section 6 TAED DAED PNEC).
