Description of key information

According to REACH Regulation (Annex VII, 7.5, column II) the study on the vapour pressure does not need to be conducted if the melting point of the solid material is >300°C. The melting point of Aluminium trilactate was determined to be >300°C and thus fulfilling this requirement.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.001 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

According to REACH Regulation (Annex VII, 7.5, column II) the study on the vapour pressure does not need to be conducted if the melting point of the solid material is >300°C. The melting point of Aluminium trilactate was determined to be >300°C and thus fulfilling this requirement.

The vapour pressure will be lower than the lowest value used by Chesar for calculation (0.01 Pa), thus 0.001 Pa was selected as key value for chemical safety assessment.
