Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
First aid: general information: Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.
First aid: inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If unconscious, evaluate the need for artificial respiration.
Get immediate medical attention.
First aid: skin: Wash off with plenty of water immediately, seek medical advice if necessary.
First aid: eye: Rinse with plenty of water immediately and seek medical advice.
First aid: ingestion: Do not induce vomiting and seek medical advice immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: water spray, foam, CO2 and dry powder
Hazards during fire-fighting: In case of fire cool endangered containers with water.
Protective equipment for fire-fighting: In case of fire: wear a self contained respiratory apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Do not inhale vapours / aerosols. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Environmental Precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
Methods for cleaning or taking up: Take up mechanically or with an absorbent material. Fill into marked, sealable containers.
Suitable binder: sand, diatomaceous earth, universal absorbent and sawdust.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: If possible, use material transfer/filling, metering and blending plants that are closed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Fire and explosion protection: Normal measures for preventive fire protection.
Storage requirements: Keep container tightly closed. Keep in a well-ventilated place.
Further info on storage conditions: Observe prohibition against storing together!

Exposure controls / personal protection
Occupational Exposure Limit
: Type of limit: German ARW (TRGS 900) 11 mg/m3 (2 ppm)
Advice on system design: If possible, use material transfer/filling, metering and blending plants that are closed.
Personal protection:
Respiratory Protection: In case of leakage or if TLV is exceeded wear respiratory equipment with suitable filter or a self contained respiratory
apparatus.
Hand protection:
Type of material: butyl-rubber
Material thickness: 0.5 mm
Breakthrough time: > 480 min
Type of material: Polychloroprene (PCP)
Material thickness: 0.5 mm
Breakthrough time: 110 min
Eye protection: close-fitting protective goggles (e.g. closed goggles)
Body protection: Use protective clothing / face shield if necessary.
Industrial hygiene: Do not inhale vapours / aerosols. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Remove immediately all contaminated clothing. Use disposableclothing if appropriate. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area.
Stability and reactivity
Thermal Decomposition: Distills without decomposition at atmospheric pressure.
Disposal considerations
With respect to local regulations, e.g. dispose of to suitable waste incineration plant. No waste key number as per the European Waste Types List can
be assigned to this product, since such classification is based on the (as yet undetermined) use to which the product is put by the consumer.
The waste key number must be determined as per the European Waste Types List (decision on EU Waste Types List 2000/532/EC) in cooperation
with the disposal firm / producing firm / official authority.
Information on Registered Substances comes from registration dossiers which have been assigned a registration number. The assignment of a registration number does however not guarantee that the information in the dossier is correct or that the dossier is compliant with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (the REACH Regulation).
